Secondary Action: The Principle that I've focused on for this task is Secondary Action. This principle has been suggested based on how the cat's tail strikes up when it's shocked. To emphasise on this emotion even further, the cat's eyes become larger, it's mouth widens and there are lines surrounding its face. I think this animation is successful because the linework appears to be quite consistent. Also, I've added a hint of detail on the mat to add some pattern work to this piece. I believe that making this animation has been useful because I've now started to think about how a character's emotions can be visually communicated by applying small details that present their body language.

360 Degree Head Turn Animation:(Zoetrope) For this task, I've created 360 degree head turn of my Boudicca character. To create this animation, I've used 12 frames. I think that this work is successful because I've thought about patterns, textures and Boudicca's facial expression. I believe that the patterns and textures work well with the simple line work. Also, I think that the facial expression presents this characters personality. To improve this animation, I think that her ears need to be drawn differently when she is facing the side. This task has been useful because it has helped me to get used to drawing this character from different angles.
Walk Cycle: Final Outcome I was given the task to create a walk cycle. For this piece of work, I decided to make this animation traditionally. The first and last frames are the same so the walk cycle appears to be on a loop. I enjoyed creating this piece of work as I was able to learn a new technique within animation. This technique will be useful for when I'm creating my final piece. For this animation, I didn't just focus on the walk cycle alone. I also considered facial expressions ,movement of the monster fur and arm movement. I believe that this has made my work successful because I've presented the uses of solid drawing and secondary action. However, to improve this animation, I do think that the movement of the arm could be altered. Also, I think that applying the uses of squash and stretch to this character could of revealed more of the monster's personality.
